The Fremont County Sheriff Department said goodbye to the past and hello to the future. The Fremont County Sheriff’s Department was working out of a building that was from 1889. Midwest Storage Solutions, Inc., was tasked with bringing the storage to the future.
However, with the multimillion dollar facility built changed everything for the sheriff department. The staff was able to do their jobs more efficiently and safer.
This is because of the new building provided newer equipment and tools. This helped with crime in Fremont County.
With new equipment and tools provided with the new building, there was a need to store all of these items in the new facility. Midwest Storage Solutions, Inc., was able to collaborate with Prochaska & Associates to help make the storage units as efficient as possible.
Midwest was able to help their friends at the Sheriff’s Department by implementing a number of spacesaver storage solutions. The first storage units installed were evidence lockers.
Midwest offers two kinds of evidence lockers - pass-thru evidence lockers and non-pass thru evidence lockers. Pass-thru gives the option for evidence to be dropped-off in a deposit and evidence technicians pick up the evidence.
The non-pass thru gives the option for evidence to be placed in lockers, but the evidence technicians need a key or combination to get to the evidence.
Along with evidence lockers, Midwest installed property storage units. Property storage allows proper storage for inmate personal belongings and inmate property.
This helps to keep the department organized in all areas. With this, all the new weapons and tools the department received needed a place to be stored.
This is where, weapon racks and high-density mobile shelving comes into play. All weapon racks give the ability to store a number of different of weapons from shotguns to pistols.
